About Me

My name is António Rafael da Costa Paiva. I have a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering by the University of Aveiro, Portugal, during which I received several distinguishing scholarships.

From November/2004 to July/2004 I did research at the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Telematics of Aveiro, in image compression.

In August/2004, I became a gradute student at the University of Florida. I will be doing research in Brain-Machine Interfaces (BMI) at the Computational NeuroEngineering Laboratory.
