I have worked at the University of Florida since October 1997. From 1975 to 1995 I served in the United States Air Force. My duty assignments were in Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Japan, Virginia, Korea, Idaho, Germany, and Maryland. Upon retirement in 1995 I was a security guard. I sold furniture and I sold cars. In 1997, Lynda Brown hired me and other than the period from February 2004 to January 2005, I have been assigned somewhere in ECE. I am a Christian and I am VERY active and involved in my church, Westside Baptist Church, here in Gainesville. I serve in many capacities. I am a deacon; I teach third grade sunday school; I am in choir; I have served as an usher; I have been active in the Gainesville Passion Play for the past several years; I have been trained as an invitation assistant; I have been on a mission trip to Brazil; I am Director of Mens Ministries; I am a Pastors Prayer Partner. If you feel like there is something missing in your life, I think I can help you and would love to talk to you about it. God is a major force in my life and I have never been happier!

I’m interested as to why major league baseball managers place so much emphasis on the batting order for their teams. The ONLY time the number ONE, TWO, and THREE batters are GUARANTEED to start off an inning is in the FIRST inning! So WHY not just place more emphasis on making sure your better batters are evenly spaced throughout the nine available spots in the order?
