CNEL Alumnus: Scott MorrisonFormer student webpage:
I am a second-year Research Assistant with Dr. Principe and Dr. Gugel.
|My Research Interests|
My background is in digital design, including custom PCB and prototype design for DSP applications. My current research includes implementation in DSP of adaptive algorithms for the Brain Machine Interface project.
As a member of the BMI team, I seek a digital hardware solution for real-time neural-to-motor prediction. Using the Texas Instruments TMS320VC33 DSP, I will implement adaptive algorithms in hardware to compute the predicted hand position of the monkey.
